9. Dart 20 and Dart 15 for sale/for club

  • We have decided not to take ownership (for the club) of the Dart 20 and Dart 15 which could be used for training and or renting out. The principle of our club is that all boats have an individual owner who will take care of the maintenance.

10. Rowing

  • Richard has received a proposal from a resident of DB to extend our activities to rowing. The proposal is to have 6 rowing boats (fiberglass; 6 meter long single and 7.5 meter long double) stored under the trees next to the hut. The proposal was that our club will take ownership of the boats and the members pay a fee to use the boats.
  • If we extend our activities to rowing, it will be under the same conditions as with sailing. The boats are owned by single members. The club will not take ownership of the boats.
  • The boats are and will not be covered under our insurance (it is impossible to insure canoes/rowing boats). .
  • Richard to communicate decision - Richard

11. Dart World South Africa

  • The Dart World will be organized between Christmas and New Year in South Africa.
  • 10 of our members are interested to attend the race. We will communicate through the flash - Nicole

12. Dart World 2008

  • Richard has been contacted by the Darts Federation to host the Dart world in 2008 in Hong Kong.
  • Estimated 150 boats during a 4/5 days event.
  • Assuming we are all working full time and it is already difficult to find Committee members, the enthusiasm is low.
  • Richard will contact the Dart World organization to find out what kind of support they will provide. - Richard

13. Letter trainers

  • Richard will prepare 3 letters for Jimmy, Daniel and Benjamin for renewal of the trainer license. - Richard
