1. Commodores Cup
- To be held in Cheung Chau in Sept. Craig to liaise with HKHC race officer about format - CK
2. Open Day, 3rd july
- Craig & Steve won't be able to make it, nor Henrick
- People can bring their own food to cook, Michele will buy food to sell MF
- Encourage members with boats to sell to come : Julian Tyson, James Harris, Trevor Smith, Torben, Duncan Macnally - RC
- Need a mail to tell people to drill their tyres and make holes in covers - RC
3. Beginners Training 17 July
- Maybe Tom can do online booking - bit short notice
- Jimmy to arrange trainers - JimS

- Jimmy would like to do more training, perhaps 14/21 aug
4. Mosquitos
- We have a machine on trial. Would cost around $10K to buy and run maintenance contract for 1st year. Agreed to spend the
- money if indeed it works.
- Should try to get HKR to position another at other end of boat park - RC
- Need more grass cutting and mosquito spraying - HK
- Need to lay a permanent pipe from water main to the dragon boat end of the boat park, with a tap, to improve boat washing
- facilities - need to check with HKR - HK
5. Clubhouse
- Ninas roof turned out to be too expensive, but idea of two level roof with airflow gap is a good one
- Cost is creeping up to $200K again
- Hardest part is chopping trees and laying concrete
- Need a project plan to present to HKR at end of July. Craig to prepare - CK
- Need to ask HKR if we can have access via the beach for machinary - RC
6. Spare boats
- Hans's 15, Julian Tyson's D18 and Jeremy F's D18 abandoned. Could lease them out
- suggest $1,000 per month to social members + $1000 deposit
- Put in Flash and on web site - RC/NK
7. Regatta
- HKRI, Lloyds TSB and Links Relocations confirmed as sponsors. James working on Perrier, Igors
- By 31 July Joe will get samples of polo shirts with mandarin collar + jacket + UV shirt + cap
- suggest no bag, but spray jacket instead. Decision to be made on the beach after racing that day
- Budget $300 per person (600 per boat) at our cost prices - JoS
8. Race times
- Craig wants to make it 1:00pm skippers briefing. 5minute gun goes at 1:30pm whether or not anyone is there
- If there are a minimum 3 at the start then the race will start. This is to speed things up - KC/NK
