Happy New Year

On behalf of the Committee of LBC, I wish all our members a very Happy New Year!!

Frostbite Series 1,2,3 and New Year's drink

Despite all resolutions, only one of our members challenged the cold weather during the first race in 2005; Frostbite Series 1,2,3. Michael Browne went out single handed and sailed around Peng Chau Island. Congratulations, Michael, next time we will join you.

Cloudy during the day, a little sun in the afternoon and 10-14 Celsius. Luckily more sailors joined for a toast to celebrate the New Year! Thanks, Grace for organizing the drink!

Maintenance workshop Sunday January 9 14:00 at the beach

Sunday we will organize a boat maintenance workshop; starting 14:00 pm at the beach!!

For the new comers; a good time to get to know more about boat Maintenance: How to use a rivet gun; how to do gel-coat; how to rub down and repair the bottom of the hull; how to measure the symmetry of the boat etc. For the experienced, a good moment to prepare your boat for the new season!

Mistake in calendar

For those of you who thought that the date on your HK7's ticket was incorrect, I have some good news. I made a mistake on the Calendar: instead of the social sail planned for March 19-20th (the HK7's weekend) you can go to the HK7's!
