Maintenance Workshop
Last Sunday Ken Wiltshire explained to us the ins and outs of boat
maintenance. A shock to some who realized their boat was in a slightly
worse state than they had thought (leaking hull; loose rigging;
rusted shackles; leaking rudders etc.) A good reminder for those
trapezing that their life is in the hands of only a small shackle.
Although Ken’s most useful and philosophical remark was “It
is all common sense but the problem with common sense is that it
is not very common”. …Thanks, Ken, it was very good!
I am sure Sky is happy as our members will be heavily investing
in at least shackles, Silicon spray and amalgamating tape
Frostbite series 4,5,6 Sunday 16th
It will be cold again Sunday, the weather forecast is 11-15 degrees
Celcius, but no rain and it will be windy. However according to
Michael, who raced the first series, it is feasible. So see you
all on the beach, Sunday, we will leave the beach at 13:00.
Cheers
