RHKYC Around The Island Race Sunday November 13th

For those who signed up for the RHKYC Around The Island Race we will sail our boats from Discovery Bay to RHKYC Saturday 12th leaving the beach at 12:00 noon sharp. Awah will be around to support us during our trip.

For those who lack a GPS, attached a picture showing some gates the course will go through by latitude and longitude. Although the picture looks reasonably precise, you might be better off buying your own GPS here (just a thought...).

And finally, don't forget to read the sailing instructions, all published on the RHYC website!

Sunday after the race we will sail straight back to Discovery Bay.

Christmas ball 2005

AGM Saturday November 26th

It is time to raise your voice and vote again during our Yearly AGM meeting Saturday November 26th in the DB Resident's club.

A lot of items to be discussed, and yes, the club facilities will be one of them. So come along and give your views on the direction you think the club should go. Ideally, raise your hand and put yourself forward for one of the committee posts.

Social Outrigger Races Saturday November 19th

The paddlers/canoe members are organizing their social outrigger races on Saturday the 19th of November between 1:00 and 4:30 PM. A 250m course will be marked out in front of the club house. It will be a social event between our club and friends from other clubs, not to be mixed with a formal regatta. It looks like the weather will allow for a BBQ afterwards as well!
