New Years Day – Mulled wine on the beach

It has become a traditional way to cure the traditional hangover. Come down to the beach and have a cup of wine, hang-out for a chat, work on the boat, or go for a sail. They say getting on the water (or in it) will make your head feel much better!

Membership Fees Due December 31st

All social and boat-owning members should have received their membership invoice by now. As insurance coverage ends on December 31st, we must receive payments before then to start your insurance coverage on January 1st. Don’t be late!

Foam Blocks to Replace Tires on the Beach

In your annual membership invoice, you will have noticed a fee to remove and replace the tires we currently use under the hulls of boats parked on the beach. Replacing the tires will be 4 rectangular blocks of reinforced foam. This was discussed and voted on at the AGM as an additional action to reduce mosquito breeding in the water that collects inside the tires during the rainy season. Once the blocks arrive, we will alert all members so they can help remove the tires and label their blocks.
