Brian Phipps Training – Oct 14th- 27th
Intermediate classes: There are still some spaces available on the
3-day weekend courses coming up. In addition, we are adding an option
for a 2-day course on the 14-15th, if people are unable to commit
to Monday. The price for that 2 day option is $700. Sign up here
Private Lessons: There are only 3 half-day private lesson places
left with Brian: Wednesday 18th am, Thursday 26th pm, and Friday
27th am. Get your booking in now to avoid missing out entirely.

New Clubhouse Opening Party – Oct 15th, Sunday, 5:30
Come and see the new LBC facility that the beachmasters, Wayne and
Neels, have worked so hard to deliver. Bring your food to barbecue
and we will provide the fire (BBQ) and drinks. See you there!
Discovery Bay Asian Open Regatta – Oct 28th – 29th
Final entry deadline is 23 October 2006. Entries
received after 23rd October may be accepted at the discretion of
the race committee for an additional fee of HK$100.

Loro Piana Around the Island Race – Sunday, Nov 19th
Save the Date: RHKYC is holding the annual Around the Island Race
in November. Race and registration info here
Christmas Party – Saturday, Dec. 2nd
Save the Date: LBC will be holding its annual Christmas party,
though with a different format this year. This time we will have
a more causal party atmosphere (not black tie), we will bring it
into DB at Club Sienna, and have booked the band Skin Deep to play.
