This is perhaps the most exciting time of the year for us in the Club. Racing season is upon us! During a successful summer of training and casual sailing, we should have more than enough helms and crew to boast better attendance than ever at the numerous upcoming races. The very next weekend we have the final series of the Annual TSB Lloyd’s Cup, our most competitive sailing competition in the LBC. The end of September sees the return of the Hobie Asian Classic , hosted by our friends at the Hobie Club in Tai Tam, which welcomes all beach catamarans again this year.
October rings in the biggest event of the year for the LBC, our annual regatta. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. Our title sponsor is Air Canada, and the regatta organisers have been hard at work preparing for it. I can tell you that the kit will feature some very innovative and useful items. More coming soon…
