All Members of Lantau Boat Club:
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting for LBC on Saturday evening, April 18, beginning at 5pm at the LBC clubhouse at the end of Tai Pak beach. This is the most important event of the year as we make decisions about the running of the club: reviewing the year’s activities, going over finances, and electing officers to take up posts for the coming year. We encourage all members to attend and let your ideas and opinions be heard. We also have a few candidates for officer positions who have indicated an interest in standing for posts on the committee.
ALL officer positions will be up for election, and include:
- Commodore
- Vice-Commodore: Training
- Vice-Commodore: Regatta
- Racing Officer
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Beachmaster
- Social Secretary
The location for the meeting will be in Discovery Bay Plaza and announced soon.
Agenda for the evening will include:
- Commodore’s Report
- Treasurer’s Report
- Review of Minutes from 2010 AGM
- Election of Officers for 2011
- Any other business
