Ladies Helm Race

Time : 11:30 briefing (dragon boat practice finishes at 11:00). First race start 11:45am!
Format: Good chance for rusty but courageous ladies to have some fun
on water. Fun sailing, see it as a game, not serious racing, buoys
rounding, finish ASAP. Souvenirs will be given to all participants.
BBQ after sailing starts at 4pm. Looking forward to see more boats this year.
Lamma Dragon Boat Results

We came second in the Plate final, 0.50 seconds behind the first – after a chaotic start- in a time of 2 minutes 19 over 500 meter, the fifth fastest time of the day in the mixed! That means we should be able to do the DB course in 1 minute 57 (420 meter). Looking forward to that!!!
It was a great rehearsal for more races to come! We still have to fine tune some aspects and build some more stamina, but the boat felt great most of the time!
Paddlers will have a BBQ this Saturday. You should have already let
Erin or Kobi know whether you can come and how many people you’ll bring.
Dates:
- May 25th: Paddling- Deep Water Bay: we join the mixed races! . We will most probably again have a junk available!
- June 1: Paddling- Mui Wo Dragon Boat Races: men’s , mixed and women’s
- June 8: Paddling- DB Dragon Boat races
