We need to secure Awah. Only 3 Darts entered, but more say they have signed up. Tom to contact ABC and clarify.

Asia Open Regatta
Kevin still looking into committee boat from ABC. Permit not yet received from the Marine dept.. Needs follow up. Tom will check LBC mailbox this week to watch for it.
Safety boats- Kevin to round these up.
Our chosen charity, Youth Outreach, is willing to volunteer on the weekend. Steve to assign duties for them. Tom to contact Youth Outreach and coordinate. (Can they swim?)
Jimmy Leung will talk with Ben (Benjamin) about being head of the beach again.
Philippe would like to know about lunch arrangements from previous year(s). Philippe to ask Michele.
Tom confirms that Pier 7 Café is set as the pre-regatta party location. (above Star Ferry)
Want to give a minimum amount to charity, Youth Outreach. We can set a minimum, or donate a portion of entry fees.
Air Canada spinnaker- cost is Euro 350 for printing etc.
Idea: Lucky draw. Need to source some prizes.
Hut
Items have been left in the hut lately (sails, clothes, etc). Do not leave personal items in the hut overnight! They may be disposed of by the cleaners.
Drinks have been disappearing without cash to compensate. Need to change hut code (Neels).
Boats in the Beach
Rack is for kayak/canoe members only. Need to move any sailors with kayaks there to under their sailboat.
Club Boats
Confirm that we will sell the club boats. Can have an eBay type of sale. Dart 18 min price $29K with excess going to our regatta charity. Top bid by end of Sept takes it.. Post highest bid on web site. Laser minimum HK$5,000. Tom to get some basic boat details and post all info on web site.
Beach Restoration
Beach needs major movement of sand. Philippe to ask about renting a bobcat or other heavy equipt with people to operate. Otherwise, may have to use manual labour.
Tom to follow up with DB Mgt on beach plans and also typhoon measures. Last time club members were prohibited from moving their boats to safe area.
Brian’s Training
Could use someone to coordinate.
