Club Racing
The Club Sail Racing event planned for last Sunday (yesterday) was postponed due to the tardiness of the majority of the sailors! At the time of the Skipper’s briefing, only 3 people were on the beach with the intent of racing. Too windy? Not enough wind? Too hot, too cold? If you join the Club, sail your sailboat or paddle your kayak, OC or other…but don’t do nothing!
In the end, many people showed up late and decided to go out for some fun/social sailing and to work on their skills in the strong winds. In all around 7 boats went out.
The next Club Racing event is Sunday 2 May.
Novice Sailing Training
We will be hosting a training on Saturday, 1 May for people who want an introduction to catamaran sailing. Get yourself, your friends, your loved ones or your enemies…but it is first come first served. These classes always fill up quickly.
Members HK$400, non-members HK $600.
Join us for an exciting day hosted by experienced LBC instructors.
The agenda will focus on building comfort levels on the cat, understanding the basics of sailing, and working on skills to be able to crew on a beach catamaran.

I need your help!
We’re about to start training for the year with a novice day on Saturday May 1st and so we rather quickly need to enlist your help.
The day is a public holiday so what better way to spend it than out on the water encouraging some new members!
If you’re able to help out either with the loan of a boat or, even better(!), by taking a novice out that would be fantastic.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you’re available.

Social Sail
We are planning a social event on 9 May. We plan to sail to a convenient nearby location and enjoy some lunch. Come and join us for a relaxed day out!
Leave the beach no later than 11am.
