Sailing Tomorrow
Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday (Buddha’s Birthday) and the Club is organising some racing (Probably a long Round the Islands Format) followed by a BBQ. Skipper’s briefing for racing at 10.30 am. The BBQ will be lit at 1.30pm with food and drink provided.
Annual General Meeting -25th May
The AGM is being held in the Bilge Bar at the Discovery Bay Marina Club at 7.30PM next Tuesday. The Agenda is published on the Club website at http://www.lantauboatclub.com/portal15/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=47&Itemid=59 along with a proxy voting form for those who cannot attend. If you wish to give someone your proxy, please complete the form and ensure your proxy hands it to the Secretary before the meeting starts.
The bilge bar is available for use by non-members but payment can only be made by credit card and not cash. But never fear, the Club will stand a round of drinks after the meeting has ended and food will be available.
Flash Distribution
The way the club website works means that only primary members receive the Flash newsletters. Recently, we have had requests for family members to be included in the distribution as well. To do this, go to the Club website and enter their details in the “Subscribe to the Newsletter” section.
