Our première attempt to round Peng Chau in a double scull was Ulrike Weckler and Bob Wilson's outing on March 26, 2011. Other crews have been quick to take up the challenge: Marcello & Kush, Jonny and Martin, and Marcello and Liam have all completed Peng Chau time trials, with the record as of today being Marcello & Liam's effort of 1:07.12h for the 9.1 km course. Kudos also to Jeff Pedersen for being the first rower to circumnavigate the island in a single-rigged double scull.
In June and July, Marcello coxed Liam, Brittany, David, and Vincent in the RHKYC Coastal Quad, and Jonny, Andrea, Allan, and David through challenging waves, wind, and rain around Peng Chau back to DB. Whose turn next to get the adrenalin flowing?
