To all LBC sailors,
1. The Beachmasters have opened a corridor through the middle of the third row of the boat park so that boats in the back row now have convenient access to the water. Parking spaces in the back row are now as usable as those in the other rows. Consequently, we may move infrequently sailed boats to the back row and assign their places in the front rows to frequent sailors.
Please do not park any boat in the open space by the tree in the middle of the third row. This space is to be kept open.
2. A number of dismantled masts, other aluminum parts, and personal items have been left in the back row for some time. These bits have been consolidated into one large pile toward the end of the back row near the clubhouse. If you have parts that were stored on the ground in the back row, please take them from this pile and store them under your boat. Members who need parts are welcome to scavenge from the pile. Items not removed after several weeks will be discarded.
3. The grass has been cut. Since it had grown very high, members may find that grass clippings have scattered over boat hulls and covers and must be washed off.
See you on the water!
