Learn to Row

A program of 6 weeks of coached outings for $1500 is available for the new rower.  Basic introduction to the Ocean Double, terms of rowing, explanation of the equipment on the Coastal Rowing boat, and guidance launching and landing.  During the 1 ½ hours of coaching, the novice learns to navigate the rowing boat with the sculling technique.  Two oars are used in a Eurodiffusion boat.  Several drills are introduced with the intent to have the novice rowing by the end of the six weeks.  Membership to LBC Rowing will be offered if the rower decides to continue.
