Training

Lantau Boat Club actively seeks to improve club members skills in sailing, to increase their confidence and ultimately their enjoyment of sailing. To do this several members have been trained by UK Multihull Coach, Brian Phipps from Windsport International , to competently teach basic sailing skills. We are currently developing programmes for all our members, beginners, dinghy/multihull converts, introductions for lady helms etc.

Secondly, every year in the two weeks before our regatta in the Autumn, Brian joins us to give expert tuition for Intermediates and Advanced Race Coaching programmes. These courses assume reasonable levels of skill have been attained.
