The Hobie/Dart fleet starts were exhilarating, with over 30 boats on the line.
Hobie 16s, Dart 18s, and Open boats in a crowded start.
Mike Scantlebury and David Harris dominated the F18s, taking seven bullets — also the best result overall among all divisions.
Martin Watine and Antoine Royer took the F18 silver, breaking a three-way tie by having more 2nd places than the other two boats.
Chris Fraser & Ed Blondel took gold in the Island Race and 3rd in the F18 division, falling behind Martin & Antoine and edging out Peter and Florent on tie-breakers. All three boats had 23 points.
Peter Davies and Florent Chappette were among three teams tied on points for second place in the F18 division.
LBC Sailing Captain and Regatta Coordinator Steve Devlin and crew Andy Perret recovered from a torn mainsail on Saturday to show fine form on Sunday. A big round of applause to Steve for organizing the entire event.
Jade & Steve Wallace took gold in the Open division, their first year with Jade helming and Steve crewing.
Tong Shing & Kit Tong (l) and Karl Chan & Peter Kuoo (r) sailed a tightly fought series. Karl & Peter took the lead on Saturday, and Tong Shing & Kit battled back to win on Sunday.
Tong Shing and Kit Tong again captured the Hobie 16 division crown.
Ross Jolliffe and Michele Felder took third in the Hobie 16 division.
Branco Ng & Henry Kwok seized the Dart 18 title with six bullets.
